Dan Teng, Grants Administrator

Dan joined the Howard Gilman Foundation towards the end of 2020. He was born and raised in New York City and had a passion for the sciences as a student. Being in the City, he had numerous opportunities to embrace the performing arts scene and culture, which led him to pursue a liberal arts-focused education. He studied theatre abroad in Berlin and worked with AileyCamp NYC, before ultimately graduating from Grinnell College. Dan holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Concentration in Linguistics. Prior to joining the Howard Gilman Foundation, Dan served as the Grants and Mission-Related Investments Manager at the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF). This was where Dan began his grantmaking career and utilized his previous experiences with IT and technology in implementing a new Grants Management System for the ADDF. He brings his skills and expertise to help carry out Howard Gilman Foundation’s mission.
