Funding Process

*Note: The Howard Gilman Foundation is transitioning to a new grants management system in the Fall of 2020. We encourage all users to download copies of past grant submissions, contracts, or award letters now as they will lose access on August 13, 2020. All current grantees will receive an email invitation to register accounts in the new system this Fall, and our website will be updated with the new application portal details at that time. For New Applicants:

In response to the COVID-19 crisis and in an effort to focus Foundation resources on support for current grantees, the Howard Gilman Foundation is currently accepting Letters of Inquiry from new applicants on an invitation-only basis. We appreciate your patience with us as we shift processes and navigate this crisis together. Please check back with us this fall for more information about the 2021 process.

 

For Current Grantees:

In acknowledgment of the crisis surrounding COVID-19, we expedited application and grant payment processing for all current applicants. We will share detailed information about the 2021 process this fall.
