How to Apply

Funding Cycles

The Foundation conducts three funding cycles per calendar year. To begin the application process, you should first determine which cycle is the best fit for both your organization and your proposal.

Cycle 1: March Funding Notification

Cycle 2: July Funding Notification

Cycle 3: December Funding Notification

→ If your organization is applying for general operating support and has a fiscal year end date of 12/31, we recommend that you apply in Cycle 1.

→ If your organization is applying for general operating support and has a fiscal year end date that falls between 6/30 and 9/30, we recommend that you apply in Cycle 2 or 3.

→ If you are applying for project support, please choose a cycle that would deliver funding prior to the start date of the proposed project. Projects are not funded retroactively.

Helpful Tips

  • E-mail notifications regarding your LOI, Intent to Apply, and Application status will be sent to your organization’s self-selected Grant Contact from administrator@grantinterface.com. White-listing this e-mail address will ensure that application-related communications do not get misdirected to your spam/junk box.
  • Your work will save automatically as you go. You can also click “Save” at the bottom of each screen. You are welcome to save your LOI or Application at any point and continue working on it at a later time. Just click HERE to log back on.
  • You may cut and paste text from other documents into any text fields on your LOI, Intent to Apply, or application. Please note, however, that you will lose any formatting.
  • An asterisk (*) means that a field is required.
  • If a question does not apply to your organization, you can type “N/A”.
